What Pdiffy does

Pdiffy provides free online PDF tools - merge, split, compress, convert, watermark, sign, and more. When you use a tool, you upload a file, we process it on our server, and you download the result. That's it.

How we handle your files

• Files you upload are processed in isolated temporary storage.
• Uploaded files and output files are automatically deleted immediately after processing completes, or within 60 minutes at most.
• We do not read, inspect, copy, or store the content of your documents.
• We do not use your files for training AI models or any other purpose.
• All uploads and downloads use SSL/TLS encryption in transit.

Account and personal data

Pdiffy does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information (name, email, phone) to use our tools. We collect no personal data from regular usage.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used most and how visitors navigate the site. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as page views, browser type, and country. It does not have access to your uploaded files.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out.

Cookies

Pdiffy uses minimal cookies required for the site to function (session management) and for analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics - anonymized usage statistics
• Cloudflare / hosting provider - content delivery and DDoS protection

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data retention

Uploaded files: deleted within 60 minutes of processing.
Analytics data: retained by Google Analytics per their standard retention policy (up to 14 months, anonymized).

Children's privacy

Pdiffy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Pdiffy after changes means you accept the new policy.
